Room is clean and bright.
Good downtown location within 20 mins walk to Parliament sites and restaurant area.
Supermarket, liquor store nearby.
Major construction work going on now at junction infront of hotel. Lots of traffic disruption.
Check in is efficient.
Tried to redeem my Agoda points for the stay at this hotel. Could not do it as it is not "included" in the list of hotels.
This should be more clearly stated as I wasted a lot of time trying to redeem the points.
Other than that, the stay was pleasant enough. Parking your car in the garage is Cdn $9.50 extra to be added to your bill.
Hotel Feature Tip : Due to road construction outside the hotel, you need to drive on the sidewalk of the hotel to go around the corner to get to the entrance of the parking garage.

Very convenient location to lower town and shops
Very clean rooms
Very helpful staff
No refridgerator in room
No safety deposit boxes in room or at desk
This was a very convenient and clean hotel for a short stay in Ottawa. The price was OK but not exceptionally low for the basic room and services provided.
The hotel has no bar restraurant facilities itself but this is not a serious problem as there is a very good sports bar in the same building with direct access from hotel (and which serves a hearty, well-cooked inexpensive breakfast).
The biggest drawback is the lack of any secuity facilities to kleave passports, jewelry, money,airline tickets, and/or private documents
when leaving the hotel.
A second drawback is that there is no refridgerator in the rooms (at least in the one I was in) to store food and beverages) or minibar. This is a pity as right across the street there is a 24 hour supermarket, beer store and liquor store so self catering would be easy if there was a 'fridge.
Shopping Tip : Ottawa lower town market is within short walking distance across the street.

Although the house clean and tidy bar points are old and out of Chad Road foreigners is a very nice place
A little dark room, light a little high price but this is probably due to different national conditions bar
This is my first visit to Canada was the first one and then stay there a few of the places. Makes me very memorable. Attendants are very enthusiastic, although I am English is not very good all of a sudden could not understand what they say. In short, living very comfortable, of course, enough.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A good road in the city center. OU is back from the Redeau Center is also very close. For new visitors or students who live in Ottawa.
