About the only good thing about this hotel is it is close to the Vancouver airport. It is clean and the staff is courteous. It is a bit dated. Carpet is worn.

I had a 20 hour layover before my next flight the following morning, so I made a reservation here and was not disappointed. There's a free airport shuttle to take you to and from the terminal and leaves are picks you up as early as 3:45 a.m. from the Comfort Inn. Only about a 5-6 minute drive to the airport. It runs every 30 minutes. The room was very comfortable and clean and perfect for catching up on some sleep before my early morning flight the next day. As for food, there's a Starbucks up the street and a 24 hour Subway and Burger King if you need some food.

Location is good if you are going to the airport. It is about half hour from downtown depending in traffic. The sky train station is only about a two min walk away. The rooms are comfortable and it has an outdoor pool open in the summer.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The sea wall downtown is really nice to go walk along. You can find some free parking downtown between 10-3

convenient for yvr but nothing else

judging from the map, the hotel looks like it's reachable on foot from public transport but in fact it is quite a hike to anywhere. the only thing in the vincinity is a liquor store and a starbucks . 15-20min either way to the 2 nearest skytrain stations and restaurants.
helpful staff, rooms are small and run down, horrible breakfast ( free though ! ) and rather reliable internet. there is even an outdoor pool but this being north west canada and even in the heat of summer, the water was way too cold for a dip.
Restaurant Tip:
Of the 2 closest skytrain stations, Aberdeen offer more dining options. Bridgeport is just a small scale gaming resort.

I stay here 4 or 5 times a year as I pass through Vancouver and YVR. Good value, no hassle , simple access.... good service. It all works for me. Now even serves free breakfast... not fancy, but what do you expect for free!
Restaurant Tip:
Boathouse restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Superb seafood and drinks... a little bit pricy, but worth the splurge. Free dessert if staying at Comfort Inn !

I was here again for a stop-over at YVR. It remains the best value near the airport, for the above reasons plus the convenience of Starbucks, BurgerKing and Subway sandwiches nearby. The staff and rooms are great. Clean, quiet rooms with all you need. If it is luxury you want... go spend double (or more) at any of the bigger, more fancy hotels nearby.
Restaurant Tip:
The "Boathouse" restaurant is only a 5 minute walk away and it serves some of the best West Coast seafood I've had in years. It is not cheap, but the menu has many choices... either simply prepared or a fusion of Asian and other influences. Great wine and drink list as well. Free dessert for Comfort Inn guests.
