The elegant and regal Delta Bessborough is the statuesque centerpiece of the city of Saskatoon. Located in the centre of the city, on the banks of the beautiful South Saskatchewan River, this classic hotel is the most popular place to stay in Saskatoon (if not the entire province). Ideally situated for the numerous festivals that Saskatoon enjoys; the Saskatoon Jazz Festival, Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan and the increasingly popular Fringe Festival all happen at venues near this hotel. All rooms are elegantly furnished with modern amenities and a Victorian flair and are exceedingly comfortable. With a fantastic Japanese restaurant on site, Greek restaurants, steakhouses and a kitschy hot dog stand nearby, finding something to satisfy cravings is easy as pie. Whether you’re there in the green of spring, the mosaic of fall or the elegance of winter, the “Bess” is the perfect place to stay. Make sure to say “Hi” to Jimmy, the popular food and beverage manager.
Children and extra beds:- Extra beds are dependent on the room you choose, please check the individual room policy for more details.

Great location and charming hotel
Location (right on the river in the downtown), charming, excellent service

Although the rooms are a little worn, I enjoy staying at this hotel (we have stayed here 3-4 times). It is charming and has an old-fashioned (although not dated) feel. The service has always been excellent - we arranged a late check-out with no hassles during this visit and needed a cot for our child. I am not sure I would recommend this hotel for people with children aged 2-16 as there is no real pool. However people with very young children, couples and business travelers will find it excellent. The health club is very good compared to almost all other hotels and I would recommend it for travelers who want to work-out during their stay. The room service and in-house Japanese restaurant are very good.

Lovely hotel with lots to offer but......
the view, the walk by the river, the ability to walk to the shopping centre near by,

The room was great the service was wonderful, always met by a smile. The only thing is it would have been nice to have a bath while I was there! The bath tub had the enammel coming off of the bottom of the tub so I had to shower all the time. That is ok but being in a beautiful hotel enjoying the ombiance you would like to also enjoy the bubble bath as well. The signature club was a great idea but lets be realistic who is going to get up a 6:30 am to enjoy breakfast when your there on a weekend and hopefully going to sleep in. The one time there was no room even to sit so we were turned away. So much for complimentary service. The front was under remodeling so there were at times some inconvenient moments. So for the amount of luxury I had to pay wow! It would have been nice to receive the luxury I was to get. I would like to try it again one day, but not to soon, maybe in 3 months when they are done and the bath tubs are fixed. Oh and there is more than enough coffee that 2 cups for the day.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do not pay the extra for the special treatment. It would be nice but I believe it is not up to par as of yet. Maybe soon. Maybe in 6 months we'll see.

Amazing exterior, poor interior

i love this hotel. being from saskatoon i have a soft place for it in my heart. however, the rooms need updating and the attention to detail needs improving. people pay a premium to stay at this hotel but need to feel they are paying it for a reason. only one elevator was working, causing long waits. parking was limited, they would charge you even though no spaces were available. needs some work but location and charm are great.
