Bringing a baby and a rental car to a downtown hotel was a bit daunting. However, valet parking really helped - but very expensive at day! Check-in remarkably fast (despite being 31st of December), automatically upgraded and placed in a quiet corner room to accomodate baby. Given late check out, nicely done. Only one small issue - the room number, 1416, happens to match the area code for calling local Toronto land line numbers- being 1-416. When people don't know how to use the hotel phone to call outside numbers, they kept calling our room directly! After the 7th call looking to reach various order-in food places, waking up our baby in the process, we just unplugged the phone.

Average hotel, booked two rooms- one for adult son

Long wait at registration. When finally served, rooms not ready. Where promised to be ready in 1 hour. and that there would be two rooms available side by side. Came back 4 hours later. No rooms available. Provided with 1 room immediately because we had to change to go out again and second room on different floor available a few minutes later. Manager found the note re the earlier encounter with registration and the card swipe. He apologized that the message did not get passed on. He 'compted' our parking and said he would give us breakfast coupons. Which he did with a nice note to contact him if we were to stay there in the future. This was my son's birthday. The hold ups were frustrating because we had scheduled time sensitive events and were stressed to make the required time. I probably will not stay there again. However, I do want to acknowledge the efforts of Manager. He is an asset to the organization. He saved the event from being a total screw up. I rated the staff below as average but would rate manager as excellent.

in-room facilities, free wifi in the lobby and the self-served restaurant are the great advantage of the hotels. You can go to Eaton Center, subway station and access to all major location within a short distance. It is good for both business and family traveler. However, it's always have a long line up for check in and check out.

The hotel is in a good location, about 10 minutes walk to the Eaton Centre. The rooms are adequate and reasonably well maintained, and the staff are quite professional and helpful. The rooms, in the South Tower where we stayed, provide the basics for your stay but little more. This section of the hotel appears tired and is in need of upgrading. The price is on the lower side for downtown Toronto, which I think is appropriate.

Good, but i recommend the Delta
what you'd expect from a 3* hotel and nothing more.

granted, the hotel was good, and it had all the necessities, but... internet is sloooow, the rooms and hotel as a very old decor, the sink is in a separate "room" from the toilet and quilt, pillows and smell old/musty. location is ok, but there are simply no decent food option near by.
