Very nice hotel and very clean. Friendly staff

The hotel was very clean and in a nice location. The parking was a bit expensive ($30/night self park). The location is in the middle of everything, thus the traffic was a bit chaotic and all the one way streets can get confusing.
the room was clean. The bar area was nice too. We only had drinks there, no food. We were from the US so we didnt have any cellular network, thus we depended on the Wifi. The wifi in the lobby was choppy, but usable to help find our destinations. We opted to not get the room wifi since only 2 ppl can log on at once, which i thought was silly since we had 4 ppl in the room and everyone wanted to the use the internet.

I was in 2 rooms within the hotel and they were both very comfortable, clean and roomy. The beds were plush and when I called for a foam pillow at 2am it was delivered promptly and with a smile. All of the staff - front desk to housekeeping - were friendly and honestly delightful. The only drawback? No mini fridge in the room. Maybe it was an option, I don't honestly know. I would stay again!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Parking is good until 6pm the day you check out.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel and it is also our 3rd fire alarm incident during the night... It's always related to people smoking in the rooms. The hotel should advise people of the sensitivity of their alarm system to limit the occurences. Also, they have a convention room, so when they have an event, you can end up with noisy neighbours. With that said, it's a good hotel, it's a shame it attracts a rowdy clientele.
Restaurant Tip:
eat fresh, be healthy (dundas/bay) is one of toronto's best restaurants and is a block away. paramount on younge, just behind the hotel, is very good.
