Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Safety
We stayed at the Best Western Uptown for 3 nights as a stop over on the way home to the UK from a round the world trip. The hotel is a 20 min bus ride from downtown and the area doesnt hold much attraction (although it is good to be away from downtown Vancouver as it is looks dangerous and dingy). The hotel was fine, nothing special and not great value for he money, but breakfast was good and there was plenty of food - as long as you didnt mind taking it back to your room as theres very few seats. The advertised "luggage storage" isnt true - they just let you leave your bags in the breakfast room which remains unlocked (and very near the street entrance). Also the safety deposit boxes were tiny - too small for our documents wallets, a camera, etc. They could only just fit our passports.
