Shabby rooms and awful service
Free parking and a good downtown location
4.3
I chose the hotel because it was located downtown, within walking distance of some big attractions, and offered free parking. But these conveniences did NOT make up for the absolutely awful service and poor room conditions. The front desk clerks were rude and aloof. The floorlamp wouldn't turn on (it was covered in melted plastic.) The table in our room was broken; it rocked back and forth and was missing part of the its lining so that the particleboard was showing through. When I called down to the front desk asking for a replacement, and noting that we were afraid to place our wine glasses on the table, I was told that he was the only person on duty and couldn't do anything about it. Could I maybe use the nightstand instead? There was also a lightbulb missing above the vanity in the bathroom, and the shower curtain reeked of mildew.

Bosman's hotel
Good location and room for traveler.
8.7
This Hotel is a good location. I do really feel like appreciate to stay over here so much. It's very easy to find out. The important thing, it's too easy to go from the Vancouver airport to the Bosman's Hotel at the downtown by the Sky train. I could go to the Gransville Island Market by walking along the road and bridge. Moreover, the room is so clean than I thought.
Shopping Tip:
You can go to SEARS (the mall, Waterfront, Canada place and Gastown by walk.

Mixed reviews
what I liked about the hotel was that, it was situated within walking distance to & from other ammenities. The price was right.
4.3
The rates of the rooms were excellent.I noticed that, it must have been the seller, as it was a pretty busy hotel. The guests sure as heck, I'm sure must have been first timers, such as us, we will not be repeat customers there. The first night I went to bed, as soon as my head hit the pillow, I smelled a strong dirt & dust odor, so next morning I asked the desk clerk to get the housekeepers to pull out night table & vaccum in & around head board of the bed, was not done, I then had to ask again the second time, this time to a housekeeper who seemed she was a room inspector, finally it was done. The hairdryer in bathroom was dirty, I had to clean it myself before I used it. Although it is an older hotel, management should do white glove inspections, I don't mind staying in older accomadations, it just needs to be clean & smelling fresh.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Thank you to Agoda for the discount rates. The only disappointment that I had was the cancellation agreements, 72 hours was too far from actual arrival.Emergencies & unforeseen circumstances don't give you 72 hour notices.
