Located in the night life section of Granville street the hotel is next to a number of night clubs and pubs. On fri/sat nights can be a bit noisy but I guess that is the trade-off you make with such a good location. All attractions in the downtime area are within easy 10-30 mins walk. Lots of places to eat that are open late around here too. The wifi in the hotel is really bad, cuts out every 10-20 mins and requires a re-login. However in saying this, for the price I would stay here again!

Try to catch an ice hockey game!

Good Location
The hotel was clean, well kept and had a storage room for luggage.

i checked in at the comfort inn and the staff were friendly and helpful.i got to my room and it was clean and tidy. i was on the first floor; the only issue i had was i could here music from the pub that was on the main floor. it was quite hard to sleep. other than that i enjoyed my stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you like shopping go down Robson Street, many stores to choose from. There is a nice walk next to the harbour and Stanely Park is worth a visit.

the hotel was located very conveniently in the entertainment area of vancouver and within walking distance of many attractions. numerous food outlets to choose from and a pub right next door (where breakfast was served).
breakfast was good, especially the wafffles but no fresh or stewed fruit.
free w-fi was great and there were also two free computers in the lobby
the room was very comfortable although it wasn't serviced one day. apparently this is because i had my "do not disturb" sign out although it was for one hour out of the entire day. staff could have been more friendly and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to the hop on, hop off bus stop - recommend buying the two day pass as it is only $5 more.

Indeed! a comfortable stay! They have a very accomodating staff from the front desk down to the housekeeping department. A continental breakfast is also good with a buffet style. overall I enjoyed and felt relaxed in this hotel.

room was clean, small. decor could be upgraded by ridding leopard print curtains.
pub located next door and band was playing thursday night i stayed. i was able to get some sleep though wouldn't recommend if needing to be up early.
front entrance automatic doors caused some difficult moments.

Pub right next door, so suitable for younger people and singles that like pub atmosphere.

I could have pleasant stay there. The room was very clean, enough space, free Wifi, complimentary cofee was there and all staff are well trained. I highly recommend everybody to stay there mostly business trip. I stayed there by myself and no need to worry for "lady alone staying". It was really confortable.

Clean, noisy and staff service is awful!

I stayed two nights. First night was on the first floor and well managed to go to sleep at 3am once the band stopped playing in the pub below. I had ear plugs and they do not work as the base is so strong. The room was basic but clean. I was moved the next day to the 2nd floor, could still hear the band in the pub below but it was mildly better!
A guest arrived obviously from overseas, tired and with a couple of suitcases. At the entrance are maybe 6-10 steps up to reception. Cleverly this woman refussed to stay! As I left the hotel after checking out the bellboy was standing above the stairs watching and didn't even offer to help. I think this tells you that the staff hate their job and basically don't give a toss.
Must say the rooms were clean, the breakfast was not bad but as mentioned the rooms are noisy because of the pub and the staff are about as engaging as a dead fish.
I have travelled a great deal alone and with my husband and must say the attitude of staff was probably the worst I have experienced. You would have better luck in South East Asia where you are always greated with a smile and gratitude that you are providing them with a job!
