Excellent location on Robson Street
Close to Stanley Park
lots of restrauaunts and shopping
older hotel
rooms are small
We stayed 3 nights at Empire Landmark Hotel. The Hotel is situated on Robson Street within walking distance to Stanley Park. You will be hard pressed to find a better location in Vancouver. There is a nice revolving restaraunt on the roof which gives you great view of the city. It was very good value. The rooms and hotel and 3 star with a 5 star location

Location, Parking, Cloud-9 Entertainment, Customer Service, Hotel Balcony Views, Comfort and Cleanliness.
I honestly couldn't think of any weaknesses or dislikes. As far as improvement my suggestion would be "Entertainment" seven days a week instead of only on week-ends.
This was my wife and I first visit to Vancouver. We arrived in Sea-tac (Seattle) from San Francisco and decided to rent-a-car and drive to Vancouver. The directions from yahoo maps was incorrect but once we arrived in Vancouver the directions to the Empire Landmark Hotel was very easy and simple. When driving down the famous Robson Street it was pretty easy to locate the hotel and luckily there was an open parking space right at the front door of the hotel before entering into the parking lot. So we stopped and parked there and from the moment I entered the Hotel the service was exceptional. My reservation already taken cared of by another great organization "Agoda"(Thanks),sure makes life run smoothly. We received a room on the 22nd. floor, and the view from the balcony was incredible. We were very happy with the room. My wife loves to take pictures so she was in heaven. So many post-card views. After being up so high, staying in hotels with no view could become an issue. The Empire Landmark Hotel is very close to many main attractions. Also the Cloud-9 Revolving Restaurant provides great intimate live jazz. Between the customer service, the food, the music, the drinks, the views, the ambience, my total all around experience was absolutely great.
Hotel Feature Tip : I was impressed when the hotel provided umbrellas to their hotel guest on a rainy day. I didn't know this service was available at Empire Landmark Hotel.

For people enjoying Asian food and walks by the sea, this is the perfect spot. Enjoy.
Restaurant Tip : Very good Korean on the second floor on Robson, in front of the hotel a little up the hill.

its location is very good, close to everything. a lot of good restrant are beside it. i did not try the hotels dining, so i know nothing about it. but the room is not so nice, it's too old and very small. however, i love the location very much so i stayed there for more than two times.
