this hotel locates on robson street where there are lots of stores just few steps away which are very convenient for shopping walking (with zara, levi's, aldo, etc... shops)
another good thing about this hotel is that it is a 35 floors high building standing in a low-height area so your view is not blocked like hotels in other areas where i have also stayed.
this is a highly recommended hotel as its price and location.

A Very Practical Choice
Downtown location is best trait of this hotel. It is a short walk to everything (shops, restaurants, public transport) including the must see parks and landmarks in Vancouver

The hotel is centrally located and as such, is just a few minutes walk from very good, and famous eating places, shopping centers and public transport station. As I am away the whole day for a convention, I just wanted a good bed and a hot bath when I come back and I wasn't disappointed. The facilities are quite good for the price I paid. I would definitely come back to this hotel if ever I had a chance to be in Vancouver.
Restaurant Tip:
There is good Japanese Restaurant on the same street and a good Greek Restaurant (Stephos) a short walk from the hotel

excellent hotel
very good for smokers. there are smoking rooms.

the tallest hotel in the Vancouver, so you can see all around there including see and bay. good service, rooms are clean. very close to downtown. the bus stop right opposite side of the hotel. 7 eleven shop just one city block distance. you can go out and walk along the robson street in order to do shopping. the price of agoda is very confortable for such hotel. recomend

お部屋もいいけど、展望レストランでの朝食は最高です。３６０°の眺めを楽しみながら、朝食を楽しめます。夕食も手ごろな値段で楽しめるけど、朝の眺めは素晴らしい。ホテルゲストでなくても、朝食を楽しめるのでお勧めです。

デンマン通りの方へ行くと、安くて手頃な日本、韓国、中国料理のレストランが
たくさんあります。また、大型スーパー・マーケットもあり。

エンパイアステートホテルは、昔ながらのゆったりとしたホテルで、今は三ツ星ですが、以前には四ツ星以上だったのではないかと推測されます。
ゆったりとしたホテルとややダウンタウンからは外れているものの、交通の便も良い快適なロケーション、どっしりとした調度品、冷蔵庫等の設備は昔ながらのホテルに慣れた人たちには快適に感じられると思います。
その分最新の設備には欠けるような印象がありますが、インターネット接続はフロントでパスを購入すれば無線ランが使えるようになり、速度、接続の安定性ともどもまずまずといった感じでした。
私はウィンストン・ベイショアーでの国際会議に参加するため4泊しましたが、ビジネスにも、慣行にもまずまずのホテルだったと思います。
