Enough Comfortable for a family

we stayed Holiday Inn Vancouver Downtown Hotel for a week.
first of all, the room was kept clean, and it had amenities that we need except for Toothbrush and Toothpaste. but if you offer staffs, they deliver you those goods.
However I have to mention about the key. We were three, so we had three keys. But two of them rarely worked well.
Finally we managed the problem.
One more thing I should tell you is there is a Japanese staff, so like my other family members, if you are concerned about your English skill, he would help you.
Overall. our stay at the hotel was nice. Have a good trip everyone!

the lobby is very nice, hallways leave something to be desired. hotel room was renovated and looked quite nice. bed was very comfortable. walking distance to the core of downtown was a bit long, but if there is nice weather, then it is a nice walk. on rainy days, taxi to downtown core was less than

the hotel was quite lovely, and from what i saw of the pool, it looked good. the location was great, and the room service was prompt and pretty delicious. however, be aware that a 15% charge is added to your room service bill, and if you pay cash, as opposed to having it put on your room tab, they will give you no change. we ended up paying $40 for a bill that should have only cost . ridiculous, especially when you are paying upwards of for a room.
we also stayed at this hotel on nye and it was insanely difficult to leave the hotel. if you take the stairs, you are unable to exit the building. this seems very odd, believe me, it is. it took us 30 minutes to get to the lobby, as all elevators were full and after trying to use the stairs, we realized we had to climb back up 6 flights of stairs to take an elevator. it was a mess.

Hotel has concierge that can booked bus transfers. Requires key room card to go up on the elevator to rooms. Has basic breakfast buffet w option for ordering cooked food. 24 hr Reception has mini food snacks available for sale . Location is easy access and walking distant to shopping centre .
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Plenty of sights to see and do.. Book a big bus for a tour around Vancouver which gives you option to Hop on n off .

Due to a self-made error, I had booked 2 rooms in 2 different hotels instead of in the same hotel. The helpful staff arranged a perfect solution to this problem, that made our stay very good despite the faulty double booking.

The hotel was in renovations, but they managed to separate the two areas. Staff o. The hotel was friendly and helpfull. If you have a car, the hotel has a covered carpark.
Travel tip:
Make sure you remember the name of the street to tell the taxi driver.
