Pretty good hotel there is a good club next door but its pretty noisy and birds sit on your window sill literally and its pretty scary when they do this and gross they have nothing to keep away the huge pigeons.

Nice Decorations and set up of hotel Staff are not very compentent. Also they CHARGE you to use the phone for local calls ($0.79) which I find ridiculous. Also they CHARGE you to store your baggage on the day you check out, which is absurd. Pretty good hotel, however unlike almost all Howard Johnson Hotels and Hotels in this city, no free breakfast. Also, hotel has no workout facilities or any leisure things to do.
Nightlife Tip : Right next door an awesome club called CRUSH

The staff were warm & fiendly.We were allowed to
leave our bags for the afternoon while we went sight-seeing.There is a good sport style
bar attached, meet some locals &enjoy chicken wings, it also does breakfast.
Internet avliable $2 for 15mins. I am sorry to say this is the noisiest hotel we
have ever stayed in. The Howard Johnston is situated above a night club
that plays very loud music until the early hours of the morning.Just down the road is a shelter for the homeless which meant you you were constantly approached,by them & druggies.
Good place to get a new tatoo or brouse a sex shop
it was sadly, not a great area for a reasonable hotel. Although I would not stay there again, it would be
o.k.if you were young enough to enjoy the clubs
& liked pizza!

There was free wireless in the rooms which was helpful.
Restaurant Tip : There is an inexpensive and excellent sushi restaurant just around the corner (opposite Fitness World). We had a great meal there.
