great location for access to public transit and close to many of vancouver attractions. the staff were helpful and friendly. the rooms need updating and the temperature in the room was too hot. there's a sportsbar in the hotel with great staff, decent menu and good prices. there's a nightclub right next door and noise can be an issue at the wee hours of the morning, depending on the location of the room. overall a good experience for the price
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a bus to Stanley Park, rent bikes, visit the aquarium, take a Sea Bus to Granville Island. The people of Vancouver are friendly and helpful even when it's unsolicited. I would go back. There's so much more to see and do. Thank you Vancouver!!

Good location but not very hospitable staff.

It was a nice hotel. Clean, tv, airconditioning etc. Very basic and not luxurious but good for a nights sleep and some relaxation. The staff weren't very helpful though. Didn't tell where are room was and didn't attend to our needs.

this hotel is very basic. it is no frills all the way from the small bathroom in the room to the "free" continental breakfast. despite the basic nature of the hotel the internet was good and the beer in the pub was cold.
Restaurant Tip:
If you're looking for west coast sea food, the restaurant in this hotel is the wrong place to look.
