Clean quality budget hotel in good location

This hotel I have stayed at everytime I come to Vancouver due to its great location close to everything and nice rooms, clean and quality at a budget price.
Watch for local calls...they charge you cents a call.
Restaurant Tip:
Wings Restaurant...cheap wings 2pm to 5pm daily.

This hotel was very adequate. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. The rooms are small but just fine and everything works.
Restaurant Tip:
Nice little Indian restaurant just a block or two down on the other side of the street.

Our room was small but clean. The location was excellent and the staff were really nice. Not somewhere you want to spend too much time in your room, but for the price and location you can't beat it!
Nightlife Tip:
Lots of clubs and bars around (if you're into that sort of thing). Doolins Irish Bar (attached to the Comfort Inn) has good atmosphere but the food was shockingly bad!

Good location - walk to metro station, shopping, buses, cafe, restaurants, sightseeing bus. Very convenient. People are friendly and will help you. Bar and restaurant next door. Plenty of sport to watch - many TV.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Catch the tour bus to Stanley Park.

this hotel is very close to Downtown only 10 minutes walking. There are many restaurants around hotel. So don't worry about looking for food. Only thing it's missing in this hotel is refrigerator. Star Buck is every 2 blocks also.

Great Location but a bit dated
well priced for downtown Vancouver

I stayed in Howard Johnson 1 night. Like all Howard Johnson hotels they have a fairly standard room.
The location is excellent for access to everything downtown as the hotel is located on Granville street.
The only drawback, i would say is that the rooms are quite dated and the hotel itself had a sort of funny smell to it. Other than that, the rooms were clean and an okay size.
