Superb location; very helpful staff; spacious, comfortable room with ample & cheerful natural light from large windows; wine tasting; robes & other good-quality bath amenities; excellent hotel restaurant (Zin); close to other very good restaurants (see below).
We had a very nice stay in Pacific Palisades. The location is ideal, and the room, service, and extras were terrific. Don't miss thee wine tasting and the very inexpensive appetizers in Zin. We also had a great breakfast there. I recommend this hotel enthusiastically.
Restaurant Tip : Zeferelli's; Shanghai Bistro; Hon's Wun Tun House--all within an easy walk from the hotel. Ask the Concierge.

Great location, clean room, excellent service
I think the parking fee is too expensive ($25/night), PLUS tax!!!
I husband and I enjoyed our stay. This was the second time we stayed at Pacific Palisades. They upgraded us to executive room for free, so that was nice. The hotel is clean. It's located in the heart of downtown, you can walk to lots of places, like Stanley Park, Gas Town, and of course if you like shopping, Robson Street is right there. We love this hotel; we consider of joining their loyalty program.
Restaurant Tip : If you like crepes, there's an excellent crepe place across from the hotel called La Bretagne Creperie. It's a family own restaurant. Excellent food, very original. The breakfast special crepe with scramble eggs, sausages and swiss cheese is my favorite.

I loved my stay at the Pacific Palisades. The staff was always very friendly and helpfull. Valet parking didn't cost more than regular parking but was a bit pricy. The room was light with happy colours, beautiful view even on the 3d floor. Perfect location at the end of Robson Street close to Stanley Park and also very close to downtown. Lots of great places to eat just across the street. I will definitly stay there on my next trip to Vancouver!

Directions
Leaving the Vancouver Airport, cross the Arthur Lang Bridge and take the Granville Street off ramp. Continue down Granville Street to 16th Avenue. Turn left on 16th, and proceed to Burrard Street. Turn right on Burrard and proceed downtown into the downtown core, across the Burrard Street Bridge and onward. Turn left onto Robson Street. The hotel is approximately 5 blocks down on the right side.
