Great value for stay

Our stay was quite good. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful. They gave us good tips for city sightseeing and shopping. The city bus was across the road, Gastown just behind the hotel. Canada Place and waterfront was within a five minute walk. The breakfast was ample though a bit repetitive.

This stay was so good. The hotel had character, friendly staff and very comfortable rooms which even though was based in the city were quiet. The Train station was a few blocks away for all attractions and transport to the airport. The free wifi and buffet breakfast was excellent. We will be staying here again next year as we will be visiting our friends who live a few blocks away.

Good Value in Good Location

This was my third stay in Vancouver & by far the cheapest yet.
I found the service to be very friendly & helpful & the rooms to be very reasonable for the price. The hotel itself looked pretty dated from the outside as did the lobby but the rooms seemed were clean & modern enough.
Location was also very good, a short walk from most major attractions & shopping/eating areas.
Overall I was very satisfied with my stay for the price.

Good for a one night stay

This was my second time staying here. I was being belligerent and stayed up late and was noisy. The staff really took my abuse and I owe it to them for putting up with me. On the other hand they could have given us a couple more bath robes, and a pool would have been a great asset. What can I expect though. The price is right and the hotel is right in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. Excellent location!

This hotel seems to be the only hotel who offers breakfast and wifi internet for free. It is not fancy breakfast but it is good enough: egg, pancake, bagel, toast, apple, banana, coffee, tea, cornflake, milk, orange, cranberry, apple juice. Some days, I got cheese and ham from nearby market and made good breakfast.
The staff is super friendly, especially “Kate” who are like a friend to us now. I love that the hotel provides lemon iced water which I always drink on the way back from long day walk in town. Bathroom is big enough for everything. Toiletry is nice. The bath tub is small but the way they hang the shower curtain make the bath a big bigger. With $70/night is good enough for us.
However, the noise from the street is a bit loud at night as there is a pub next door. My room faces the street so I heard a lot of noise at night. You might want to ask for the room at the back but no view.
If you walk down the street before hitting China town, you will see T&T Asian supermarket. Food here is cheap and open till late night which serves us well for late night starving.
A lot of homeless people on the street but they just ask for change. I also like the location of the hotel which easy to access everything from sea bus to shopping malls.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel provides wifi internet but you may have to log in every other day to activate it. I stayed there for 10 days. I had to log in every two days to be able to access internet. It seems like they have limited time of access internet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ramada. It was in walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Lots of restaurants and cafes surrounding too.
Breakfast was a vast selection,and very nice. The staff at this hotel are extremely attentive and friendly. We would highly recommend to stay here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You MUST see 'the Number 14bus' that is on in the theatre on Granville island. It is two hours of laugh out loud comedy, an amazing production!!

This is the BEST Ramada I have stayed in!!!
All of the staff were happy, friendly, knowlegeable & efficient.
It was obvious that they all enjoyed their jobs by their interactions with me & others.
This aspect shone through in my dealings with each of them!
I will stay here again, this Ramada should be the leading example of what other Ramada's need to live up too!!!
I can NOT fault any aspect of this hotel

Restaurant Tip:
The Vietnamese restaurant across the road is excellent. The Chinese restaurant just down Richards Rd is excellent...get in early, it is almost always full.
