i was impressed with the location, the hotel is in downtown area which we could just walked to get to robson street and food/shopping gallore. free wifi is an advantage. staffs are nice. room is clean although a lil small.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Comfortable beds - great bar downstairs - lovely breakfast at Moxies with friendly, happy staff. Would come back again
Nightlife Tip:
Doolin's Irish Hotel on Granville Street was lots of fun as was the Shark Bar at the Sandman Hotel. Stanley park & Granville Island a must. The hop on & hop off trolley was a great way to get some history & also to work out what we wanted to see.

Sandman has always been the one I go to especially for short stays and vacations. It's not too pricy for the place. Location is great because it's close to downtown and also skytrain so easy to travel to places. Moxie is also underneath the hotel so if you're hungry and no place to go, well food is just a minute away from your mouth! Overall, Sandman would be an ideal place to stay for families or couples.

the hotel is very close to centre downtown and also to the skytrain which makes it easy to travel to other places. although wifi isn't really stable so makes it hard to browse the internet. the view is pretty good, you can see bc place and science world really clearly also false creek. overall, the place is good for one night stay or for travelling. the price is decent.

We stayed for two nights and choose the Sandman hotel as it was one of the cheapest available in downtown Vancouver. The rooms were abit small but for what we wanted it was fine. It is on the outskirts of downtown but you can still walk around the whole of Vancouver in a day along all shore lines which we did. It is in a great location right next to the arena to watch the whitecaps ice hockey if this is what you are coming to vancouver to see. There is a greet bar downstairs and a nice restaurant aswell.

5 Blocks away or 10 minute walk from Vancouver City Center subway station and shopping center. One block away from Robson Street. Not far from China Town. Not many restaurants around, but hotel restaurant serves good food at reasonable price.
Elevators are slow and crowded.
Room was reasonable and clean.

The value that I paid for this hotel is not fair enough. With the same value of money, I can stay in 4 star or 5 star hotel. This hotel is considered as 2 star or maximum 3 star hotel.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is not very near to the shopping area. We need to walk 8 - 10 blocks in order to go for shopping.
