Enjoyed our stay despite getting bumped

We made reservations for a 2-night stay (Deluxe Ocean View) at the Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa 3 months in advance and received a confirmation email with late arrival guarantee. But when we got there, we were told by the receptionist that the hotel was fully booked! We were pissed to say the least and demanded to speak to the Manager on duty. The Manager apologized and talked us into staying at their sister hotel, Great Parnassus. He offered us a room with a private jacuuzi on the balcony and 2 complimentary passes for breakfast at the VIP Lounge as compensation. So we ended up spending 1 night at Great Parnassus. The food there was ok, although it was a little crowded with kids. We loved the pool though!
We checked out from Great Parnassus and checked-in at Golden Parnassus the next day around noon. This time, we were greeted promptly by the hotel staff. They apologized for bumping us and graciously upgraded us to a Golden Room with a private in-room jacuuzi and balcony with ocean view. We were pleased with the room and with the rest of our stay. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurants were good. Loved the open bars and enjoyed the new Golden Ages show! Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Golden Parnassus and will go back again!

great location and worth the price

good location with all included service which is a good value to the cost. however room facility is relatively old, not satisfactory if you get used to new rooms.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
do not buy the tour in the hotel

他のホテルに比べたらこじんまりしてるホテルだと思いました。
でも、部屋（デラックスオーシャンビュー）からの景色は最高だし
ホテルの滞在費にすべて含まれる食事もおいしかったです！
他のホテルのレビューに書いてあるように、レストランの予約が必要ということはまったくなく
食べたいときに食べたいところに行き、食べたいものを好きなだけ食べれる幸せ☆
飲み物もすべて込みなので、カクテルやスパークリングワインも飲みまくっちゃいました。
レストランは曜日ごとに開いているところが違うので、ロビーの掲示板で確認してください。
ちなみに日本語はまったく通じず、Wi-Fiも繋がりませんでした。
有料のネットサービスがロビーにあります。
スタッフも優しくて、とにかく海に近くていいホテルでした。
レストランは日本料理のスモウと、ちょっと高級チックなシャングリラがオススメです。
ドレスコードありでしたが、普段着にサンダルで全然大丈夫でした。
貴重品ボックスは暗証番号式手はなく、鍵式でした。
