The hotel was in a great location. Bus stop right outside and ferry right across the street. The room was clean and maid service everyday. The mini mart on site was helpful when in need of water and snacks. The only problem was pretty noisy in the mornings when we were trying to get some much needed sleep. If you don't speak Spanish communication can be pretty tricky. The staff still tried to help even though my spanish is horrible.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
use the local bus to go downtown or to other hotels and beaches. R1 or R2. busses

Hotel Calypso Cancun

the calypso hotel was a small and friendly place at the 4 km mark of the cancun strip. staff are helpful and friendly, breakfasts are in the adjoining restaurant, and are satisfactory in both size and flavour.
the hotel is quiet and relaxed. however, for some people it may be slightly far from the action, which is located around the 9 km mark. the buses cost only 0.85 pesos and so getting in and out should not be a problem.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Straight across the road from the hotel, there is a small shopping area and a tall tower. A ride on the tower, inside a small revolving room, gives great views of the whole of the Cancun area.

Had almost all you needed near hotel

good cheap hotel. close to ferry to islands. buses right outside to where you need to go. restaurant is ok but not great and has a little store for snacks and other things.
we booked a tour to xplor however on the day we were not picked up and when enquired directly to the park we were not booked by the concierge of hotel so we had to catch a taxi there. on top of that the front desk then tried to charge us for a 15 min free call number even though they failed to book our trip.

calypso is conveniently located next to the bus stop opposite the hotel pier which sent boats to the island of women. you can have breakfast in the dining room of the hotel is extra paid (i did not enjoy). you can swim in the beach clubs (with a map of their location will give the hotel) .. i went to the beach across the road. to the center 15 minutes by bus.

da das hotel als polizeistation genutzt wurde, bestand zu keiner zeit die gefahr ueberfallen zu werden. somit einer der sichersten orte in cancun.
die zimmer sind einfach, aber sauber und nett. allerdings gibt es keinen kuehlschrank im zimmer.
gleich gegenueber ist eine faehrstation zur isla de mujeres.

※ホテルゾーン内の繁華街（クラブ等あるところ）へはバス移動になります。
※スタッフはとても親切ですが、レストランスタッフに関してはチップを要求してくるので、レストランスタッフの接客クオリティーは低いです。
※フロントスタッフはとても親切でした。
※お湯がほとんどでません。昼間は暑いですが、朝晩は水シャワーでは寒いです。
Nightlife Tip:
バスでバスゾーンの繁華街へ行くとココボンゴといぅクラブがあります。日本のクラブとは違い、どちらかといぅとラスベガスのショーをイメージしているようです。
なので、クラブ感覚で行くと少し違うかもしれません。
また、オープンバーなので、値段が高いです。（$60）
それであれば、近くに他のクラブもあるので、ショーに興味がなぃ人はそちらでいぃと思います。
またオープンバーでない値段もあるので、スタッフとしっかり交渉しましょう。
（人によって値段が違います。）
エントランスフィーが$10～$15（これは交渉して値段を下げないともっと高いです。）

今のホテル名は「Calypso」現地ではこのホテル名じゃないと通じないので注意。
海が遠いことと、温水シャワーが不安定なことを除けば
快適。
冷蔵庫はOXXOで、氷と発泡スチロールを買えばOK
レストランが、カンクンのホテルゾーンと比べ、安くて
美味しい。

בית מלון רגיל, לא מיוחד נחמד ללילה זול לפני טיסה

הגענו למלון ללילה לפני הנסיעה לשדה התעופה, חיפשו משהו זול. למטרה הזו הוא אחלה. המלון ממוקם באזור הלוהטת הצפוני, לא במרחק הליכה ממקומות הבילוי המרכזיים, אבל קווי האוטובוס בקנקון ממש נוחים וניתן להגיע בכמה דק׳ לאן שרוצים. במלון יש בריכה שנראית נחמדה אבל הייתה סגורה כשהיינו וווייפיי חינם בקבלה.
Shopping Tip:
מרכזי העניין העיקריים של הקניונים והמסיבות נמצאים במרחק נסיעה באוטובוסים המקומיים של כ 10-15 דק׳

Hotellet ligger inte i "the hotel zone" men de e okej för det priset eftersom det går bussar precis utanför typ var tredje minut. O den kostar ca 4kr.
Shopping Tip:
Om man tycker om marknader så ska man besöka 28 market. Ligger ca 20 min bort med buss.
