The location is excellent. The rooms are spacious and well decorated, there is a shopping mall right below and its very close to to downtown.

Check in and check out took too long. Room service is expensive.

The hotel is located along Montejo Ave and surrounded by french style mannors from last century. It is very close to downtown and about 20 mins driving distance from the airport. If arriving by car, getting to the lobby is a bit of a hassle since the lift from the parking only arrives to the ground floor and then you need to take electric stairs to the lobby. The rooms are very nice and spacious, they have WiFi (expensive) and one of the best features that we tried during our stay was the buffet breakfast...it is definitely a must for every visitor.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Izamal Town is worthwile visiting if staying in Merida. It is an hour drive from the hotel. The Uxmal Mayan Archaelogical Site is about 1 hour and 15 mins drive (different direction than Izamal) and it is really an impressive site.
