Centrally located and yet very quiet in a nice neighbourhood. Wifi (although only in front, more expensive rooms). Friendly staff with excellent English.
Standard rooms are very small and smell badly. No wifi.
We found this hotel has an almost ideal location, very central, not far from Metrostation "Insurgentes", in a quiet neighbourhood on a nice plaza. The name may be Casa de la Condesa but it is located in the Roma colonia.
Seduced by the low price, we booked a standard room, which was very disappointing: very small, bad smell, no wifi, no airco but a little electric heater (luckily, winternights in Mexico DF are very cold), warm water only after letting the water run for 5 minutes. But it was very quiet because at the back of the building, which is great to rest.
They gave us spontaneously a big room, with no extra charge, at the front after a leak in the bathroom caused an inundation in the room. Very spacious, wifi, immediately hot water, airco with heating, kitchenette, sofa.
We would say the main advantage of the hotel is its location.
