This colorful and vibrant boutique accommodation is tourists and leisure traveler friendly and located in the center of town. The Paseo de la Reforma is located very close to the hotel along with other popular attractions and venues. Accessing the hotel should be no problem for visitors to the city as the Mexico City International Airport is less than 20 driving minutes away. Wake up to an early morning meal at the Cafeteria which is open until the late night. Open for breakfast and lunch, guests can enjoy typical Mexican as well as international meals at the Fuente de la Condesa. Over-rated and slightly down-at-heel

Overall, our experience did not inspire us to want to stay here again. It is probably more like a 2-star or perhaps 2-and-a-half-star hotel.

Casa de la Condesa
Centrally located and yet very quiet in a nice neighbourhood. Wifi (although only in front, more expensive rooms). Friendly staff with excellent English.

We found this hotel has an almost ideal location, very central, not far from Metrostation "Insurgentes", in a quiet neighbourhood on a nice plaza. The name may be Casa de la Condesa but it is located in the Roma colonia.
Seduced by the low price, we booked a standard room, which was very disappointing: very small, bad smell, no wifi, no airco but a little electric heater (luckily, winternights in Mexico DF are very cold), warm water only after letting the water run for 5 minutes. But it was very quiet because at the back of the building, which is great to rest.
They gave us spontaneously a big room, with no extra charge, at the front after a leak in the bathroom caused an inundation in the room. Very spacious, wifi, immediately hot water, airco with heating, kitchenette, sofa.
We would say the main advantage of the hotel is its location.

Take Viaducto Miguel Aleman, then take right Av. Monterrey, take right at Zacatecas until you get to Orizaba where you will find Plaza Luis Cabrera a very nice plaza with a fountain, take a left and you will find the hotel at your right hand side No.16.
