Cool of atmosphere and design, this boutique property in the upscale suburb of Polanco is the haunt of hip urbanites and the fashion set. Located in the quiet leafy streets of Mexico city's most exclusive colonia, the Habita Hotel is just north of Chapultepec Park, a few minute's walk from the Polanco metro station. Neighbor to luxury stores and high-end dining, the property sports a suitably minimal design aesthetic, complete with Eames chairs, polished concrete and ample frosted glass. Rooms are chic and calm, with robes, Kiehl's toiletries, pale marble bathrooms and integrated sound systems, each featuring a glass-enclosed balcony where guests can sun themselves or spy on the street below. At night, the hotel takes on another life as locals and travelers head to the rooftop bar for cocktails and views of the city.

nice modern hotel but pricey
modern rooms, good housekeeping, nice bar on the roof

great hotel however very expensive for the value. rooms are modern. shower is poor design. bar on roof is good. gym is small, jacuzzi is poor. staff are very helpful. breakfast is poor value.
