Next to Alameda Central and the Centro Historico district, this budget property presents an excellent choice for first-time visitors wanting a convenient location. A block from the Palacio de Bellas Artes and within strolling distance of several other beautiful buildings of note, the Hotel San Francisco is in a top position for those wanting quick pedestrian access to the historic hotspots. The metro station of Hidalgo is only a few blocks away as is the Paseo de la Reforma, and tourist trolleys and buses can be easily caught from outside the Palacio de Bellas Artes should a more relaxing tour of the city be sought. Those wanting to indulge in some consumerism will appreciate Sears a few blocks from the hotel, or for something completely unexpected guests can walk around to Barrio Cino Chinatown which is only one street away.
Children and extra beds:Extra beds are dependent on the room you choose, please check the individual room policy for more details.

I froze all night as there was no heat, no thermostat(January) . I was afraid to let my close or luggage touch the floor it so so filthy! Open drain in the shower-God only knows what could crawl up that pipe.

Hotel San Francisco Mexico City
Accessibility yo transport and the City Sights
9.3
The hotel was 50 metres from the main road that led to the centre of the city. Also it was close to the Touribus Service (a walk on - walk off service that connected all sights. It was also in the safe part of Mexico City. There was accurate information as to the means of getting to the airport. The food services were good.
