This modernist hotel in Centro Historico is close to the Paseo de la Reforma and the city�s most impressive and important landmarks. A block from Hidalgo metro station, the Jena Hotel is in a relatively quiet area of the inner city, a few blocks away from the Plaza de la Republica and ten minutes on foot from the historic buildings of Zocalo. Opened in the forties, the hotel has been refurbished several times since then but retains a distinct retro charm in its dark wood-paneled walls and deep red upholstery. A well-kempt and attractive pool area can be found on the seventh floor and the hotel offers secure parking onsite. Nearby there are various shops, cantinas, taco stands and of course a Sandborns store.

Taxi service you hire is too expensive and the personal was not in keeping with the hotel
Overall stay was satisfactory for me the price - comfort. Also, the people turned out to be affable, calm and well-disposed. the room was clean and tidy. Had the minimum necessary elements for the night. Unfortunately my stay was short and could not evaluate another type of service. Breakfast was normal, with coffee and toast
