Although not in the 'tourist' centre of Mexico City, this hotel is well located close to buses and metro and was extremely quiet - a treat in a very busy city. It is also in easy walking distance of many 'sights', museums, markets and the historical centre of Mexico.
The staff certainly made this visit memorable. They were very helpful, keen to assist and made you feel part of the 'family'. As a sole traveller, I felt safe. I also felt that if something happened to me, the hotel staff would notice and/or be prepared to assist.
The dining room also provided a really good introduction to Mexican food, a great assistance to then sampling from the street traders.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, great food, free internet access.
Although staff made a considerable effort, sometimes the understanding/communication in English meant one was not totally confident what one had negotiated would actually eventuate.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You must go to the National Palace to view Diego Rivera's murals - its free and an easy walk from this hotel.
