Great room at great price but WIFI down 2 days

The big downer was the internet was down in the rooms for the entire 2 day stay.
You book a Ramada near the airport and metro for the convenience and security, but how can chain this big allow their room wifi to be down for all friday, saturday, and sunday? THe ethernet connection in the business center was fine but who wants to Skype with family in the business center public room, and wait in line for the 2 usable ethernet jacks?

It was okay. The only thing of my concern was that I arrived in different terminal than the hotel's shuttle bus location. So, I had to take taxi to go there.

The Ramada Aeropuerto Mexico Hotel is an excellent overnight stop between flights. Its shuttle service is easy to find, efficient and fast. The staff are friendly without being obtrusive. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet (despite being so close to the airport!)

Perfect location for overnight at the airport

We stayed at the hotel overnight to catch a morning flight. Excellent location, very quiet room and nice staff. We had breakfast in the hotel which was complimentary. Free shuttle service to the airport about 5 minutes away. Great value.

I found this hotel to be very convenient for early morning departures and late arrivals into the Mexico City airport. The staff is friendly if not always well informed... I experienced an untrained person at the front desk... home alone... however when the trained personnel were there they were pleasant and informative. The restaurant menu is varied enough and the food is quite good.
The bar, always empty, might fare better if the loud television were turned off. The rooms are pleasant and clean. Not spacious but adequate.
Travel tip:
Allow travel time to and from the airport... it's 10 minutes away but the van is not always readily available

Airport hotel with the right touch

I arrived tired and worn out to Mexico City for the night prior to moving on the Puebla which has a bus running from the airport. Check in was quick, the room was nice and had everything and the gym was perfect to run off some of the jetlag. It was a lifesaver as I was pretty exhausted and the staff knew English so could help me with anything I needed.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Definitely use the hotel shuttle to the airport, it was super useful and the driver very helpful

Great standard hotel for long layovers. 2 in from airport and room price (approx $100) includes free airport transfers.
No breakfast included, which would have made it a perfect stay, but all in all a solid option if you're holed up in Mexico City waiting for a flight.
If you have longer than 12 hours, head into town for a cheaper and more interesting stay though, airport is only 20 minutes (depending on traffic) from the cool area of Condesa which has a ton of restaurants and bars to sample.
