Large rooms and a nice lobby

I was passing through Mexico City and had half a day between flights and wanted a hotel with some decent running nearby. The university area and the botanical gardens fit the bill. Standard business hotel with a very American-sounding check-in person. A bit far from the airport but if you arrive off-hours or on a weekend it is still a pretty quick 200 peso taxi ride from the airport. I wouldn't want to attempt that trip during rush hour though. It could take you up to 2 hours then.
