beautiful colonial hotel with great service

this is a marvellous little 2 story hotel around a central garden overlooking the mountains around san cristobal. the rooms are huge and decorated in beautiful spanish colonial style. breakfast is basic but good quality. staff is very friendly. 3 blocks walk from the ave guadalupe with restaurants, bars and shops. if you have a car, parking is 2 blocks away which is kind of a hassle because the entire city is a grid with one way streets but once you get the hang of it, it's okay.
Shopping Tip:
walk 20 mins past the cathedral along the shopping street to the "artesanias" (handicrafts) market. after that you can walk 10 mins further north to the food market which is even better.

Hotel con habitaciones espaciosas, con un aire colonial, muy bien mantenido y con implementación necesaria para hacer una grata estadia, cuenta con un jardín central que le da un aire mas hogareño. Se encuentra a pocas cuadras del centro neurálgico de la ciudad, permitiendo con ello llegar caminando al área de restaurantes y comercio

Schönes Hotel in San Cristobal

Das Haus liegt ein wenig abseits des Zentrums von San Cristobal. Trotzdem ist alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind um einen Innenhof angelegt. Sie sind groß und sehr komfortabel (Sofa, Kamin, getrennte Dusche / WC), verfügen jedoch über keine normale Heizung. Zusätzliche Decken liegen allerdings bereit.
Das Frühstück ist mexikotypisch einfach. Die Dame im Restaurant sprach leider überhaupt kein Englisch. Die Rezeption ist englischsprachig besetzt.
Kreditkartenzahlung vor Ort nicht möglich. Dazu muss man ins Schwesterhotel. Garage vorhanden. Buchung von diversen Touren nach Chamula, Tonina, Sumidero Canon an der Rezeption möglich.
