King bed, quick fixing of sluggish sink, convenient location, tasty and varied breakfast buffet.
View of a wall, not enough staff at breakfast.
Two thumbs up! The Courtyard surprised us with a king bed instead of just the promised double. The sink was sluggish; but when we called to report it, the handyman came right away and fixed it. We got a good price through Agoda. The buffet breakfast included corned beef hash and made-to-order omelets, and it cost a couple bucks less than the one at the Boston hotel where we had stayed a few days earlier. The Courtyard is right next door to the Shubert Theatre, which made it extremely convenient for us to see "Jersey Boys."(Good show, by the way.)
Our only complaints about the hotel are minor. One is that our room offered a close-up, unobstructed view of the side of another building--not exactly what I would call a "courtyard." The other is that we had to wait a while before someone came to seat us for breakfast. These annoyances were trivial, however, and were far overshadowed by our pleasant experiences.
Nightlife Tip : This is a great place to stay if you're seeing a show at the Shubert Theatre.

Located close to restaurants.
Rooms are small, no ventilation, Internet access in room couldn't be fixed in a 4 night stay.
The main reason to consider this hotel is if you are a points junkie or alternatives are sold out. There are many hotels in this area, so if location is important choose others. That said the reason I stayed here was due to a lack of alternatives. The price was very high, but relative to the sold out conditions in Boston at that time.

Convenient location and friendly staff.
Overbooked first night and had a hotel way across town for the night instead of a local one. Next night I was promised a room at the Courtyard Boston because the other hotel was booked for the next night. I checked in and was given a room without a bed; only a worn pull out couch. I was told I'd get 2 free rooms because Courtyard would not charge due to my trouble.
Besides for being overbooked the first night and had a hotel way across town for the night instead of a local one. With the next night being promised a room at the Courtyard Boston because the other hotel was booked for the next night. I checked in and was given a room without a bed; only a worn pull out couch. I was told I'd get 2 free rooms from Agoda because Courtyard would not charge Agoda due to my trouble. The hotel was nice and staff were very friendly. With all of the mis-haps overall this is a nice hotel.

Location was perfect and the staff was very helpful and polite.
Bathroom was small but manageable.
The hotel was very pleasant; the convenience to the T and other attractions surprised us since we are not too familiar to Boston. Two T stop lines were within a couple of blocks, Chinatown two blocks and Boston Common two blocks away. There were plenty of restaurants to choice from in the area as well. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was small but clean. They did not have room service or any breakfast deals but there was a restaurant. We chose to eat elsewhere so no review on the restaurant. The price was more then we normally pay not sure how it compares to the area. The building was beautiful, built in the 1920's and recently restored to the original colors and elegance of the 20's. I would stay there again.

Room very good, with free internet access and room des and des imprmir possibility of the hall. Buffet breakfast very complete. It offers friendly and correct. Good location.
Like most U.S. hotels cleaning is not his forte.
The value of our stay at the Courtyard Boston is quite positive. The treatment of staff was excellent and the haitación comfortable. As shown on its website and in the various search engines, the hotel is nice and cozy. Could improve on cleanliness, especially with regard to dust, but this we found at different hotels in USA, do not shine by its cleanliness. Breakfast is good and complete: offers a variety of foods, sweets and salty.
