Great location, magnificent reception area, nice bar attached, very friendly staff, good clean rooms and super comfortable beds.

No major cons, small point was our room did not have the best view and looked right over a set of offices and a library. The windows had no privacy blinds. You either had to have the curtains open or closed which made the room very dark in the day if you were changing.

We loved this hotel. It's in a great central location and is extremely impressive when you first walk into the reception area. Our room was ready even though we were early, which never normally happens and despite being a large hotel it does not feel too imposing. We loved the fact it had so much history and while the decor and style remains in keeping with it's past, it does not feel too old and outdated. The upkeep of this building and decoration I would say was excellent and it feels authentic. The bedrooms are extremely well equipped and comfortable; the bed being one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. We found the staff exceptionally friendly especially concierge who recommended several good restaurants for us to eat in and helped book us a trip with no fuss. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A day trip with or without an overnight stop to Province Town is very do-able. We were there out of season so our ferry choices were limited but in hindsight we would have stayed a night in this pretty little town as we felt 2 days in Boston was enough to see everything. Also ask concierge for some great restaurant tips in the Italian quarter of the city, there are some lovely places.

No room service during my stay

My stay at the Omni Parker House was a lovely experience. The staff was friendly, happy, helpful, and efficient, the decor of the lobby, hallways, and rooms was pleasing and very clean, and the room was exceptionally clean. The location was highly convenient for both walking around Boston and access to the T. Infortunately, for some reason there wasn't room service during the time I was there and since I arrived at 2am, after traveling for 30 hours and on an opposite time zone, it would have been helpful to know this prior to my arrival - but, the mini bar was well stocked (yes, expensive) so at least I was able to eat. The staff said that they would ask for no charge for that since the no room service wasn't mentioned, but I was charged - it's ok though, the place was so peaceful and beautiful.

Location, staff was very pleasant and accomodating, food was good in the restaurant.

No food served in the lounge late in the evening

I liked the hotel very much. The location is very good, near the subway, and other attractions are withing walking distance in Boston. The room was extremely nice and I was able to get a double at no cost when I asked for it. I had only booked a single. The staff was extremely polite and accomodating. Security was good on New Years Eve as they made sure only guests went up to the rooms. The food in the restaurant was good for breakfast. We wanted a small snack in the lounge late at night which was not available. The bathroom in the room was quite small, but still adequate. I liked the hotel and would stay there again!

Location

small rooms

Enjoyed staying in the heart of downtown Boston Massachusetts. Was conviently located near transportation. May T lines were accessible easily. My husband and I could walk to many many many places from the hotel. The rooms were small. The people working in the hotel were very very friendly. I needed suggestions of places to eat and the person transferring my bags spent much time describing his favorite places to eat and the pros and cons of each. He also gave suggestions on fun things to do in Boston after gaining an understanding of what my husband and I liked to do.

Great location at a great price

rooms are small and the period is 1950's ish, but that's the charm

One of the best locations available at an unbeatable price.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Swing on by to Fanieul Hall / Quincy Market, The Wharf & the NorthEnd.

Location, build a traditional feel

To narrow the loud sound of air conditioning

Given the location and hotel rating, I wish to泊Mare fairly cheap, too cheap minutes, and the rooms are narrow, lack of sleep now for a fairly large room attached to the sound of the air conditioning. Only not help lower prices and balanced thought.
