The room is so tidy.The location of the hotel is really convinient.
The store in lobby is relatively too small. Type sof goods are limited there. It will be better if there are more special goods which can be gifts to buy.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Art Musum is pretty fabulous. Bean sculpture in millennium park is also special.

Great view of Grant Park. Within walking distance of many things.
There was a hotel workers strike going on when we arrived. It took us a while just to cross the line and get into the hotel while being screamed at the whole way by the protesters. The woman at the desk said they didn't work there, just part of the union. Who knows...
The hotel is showing a little age. Could have used wifi in the room.
I would go back there simply for the location. The rooms were clean. You can walk to the art institute, field museum or union station. Decent night life. A couple of good Irish pubs nearby. Liquor store a block away. A good Thai restaurant across the street too. But, like I said, it is an old hotel. The toilet kept running unless you opened it up and adjusted the floater inside. That was a little annoying. I was just too lazy to try to change rooms. I never tried the hotel restaurant.
Nightlife Tip : There are some shady characters about trying to sell an array of illegal substances.. so be careful!
