Good Located Hotel

The rooms are spacious and clean. Not much service can be expected as this is a kind of a motel. Foods are allright.
Travel tip:
You need to call the hotel when you need transportation from the airport. The airport shuttle bus does not travel regularly.

Reception staff a little distant but proved to be helpful when it was discovered I had left an item in the room after checking out. Shuttle service to and from the airport was efficient and the driver, the hotel.s best asset was informative.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Bus to town is right outside the hotel, and extremely cheap.

checking in and checking out was relatively quick and easy, which was great because it allowed me to go out and spend more of the day going around the island. unfortunately for me, however, when i finally came back to my room later that night, there was a huge flying cockroach in my room! other than that, staying here was great. the shower was hot and strong, and the room even came with a microwave.

Good Location Hotel

My stay was nice and comfortable.This hotel is in the center of the Airport area and near to many attractions both historic and cultural.The staff is friendly and helpful when you need directions to a specific business or just to find a certain restaurant you want to eat out. I recommend for those who just want to relax and for those that do not want to travel far away from the hotel.The parking is ample but the parking fees are expensive.This fee should be free for those using the hotel(non-resident/guests) and charge for those that are residents of the island.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Near attractions like the U.S.S Arizona Memorial and other historic land sites.This location was also nearby Pearlridge Mall and other nicely located restaurant and bars. Also there were tours set up for the U.S.S.Missouri and U.S.S. Bowfin. Also there was the Aviation Space Museum.I also recommend to go to the opposite of Oahu to see other historic sites.

The hotel was slightly older than I thought it would be for the price, but it was nice & clean, and very close to the airport. The pool was closed when we got there, and from the signs, it looked like it was supposed to be open, but was delayed. At least there was access to a pool down the road within walking distance (or free shuttle). Internet was so slow, it was almost unusable at peak times. Rooms were clean, and neat. Safeway is withing walking distance (maybe 1 mile away), gas station, Starbucks, other food places and a drive-in very close by too. Neighbourood was industrial-like, but seemed quite safe, with Army housing across the road, and lots of military personnel. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Bus station is also very close by.
Restaurant Tip:
Seems to be a few places to eat within a block of the hotel, so walk around and see. Looks very industrial, but there is a Starbucks, a sushi place, burgers, etc very close by.

Rooms were basic but clean, could do with a bit of upgrading considering the price that they charge.
No room service and cafe closes at 10pm, so if your flight arrives late you may want get a bite before checking in

hotel chosen only for access to airport for very early international flight next day.
unfortunatly we didnt find the beds comfortable, the sheets had been laundered with a detergent that irritated my skin. the rooms were otherwise spacious and clean.
the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and allowed us to check in at midday and not 3pm as we arrived earlier due to flight changes.

i thouroughly enjoyed my one night stop at the ohana hotel. the pick-up at the airport was efficient. one call from the airport and the shuttle came within twenty minutes. the driver was most courteous. the fact that there is a shuttle every thirty minutes was the best! the staff were most accomodating and even politely advised me that there were some fast food eateries one block away. the free wifi was good. the rooms were clean and the view was also good. i was not able to use the pool though. i decided not to take transportation downtown as i was told that the shops would close at 6 pm (sunday). check-out was seamless. no problems.
Travel tip:
Foodcourt at the back of the hotel - starbucks, chinese, japanese, pizza.

Ample size rooms, comfortable air temperature. A little noisy at times because of the wide variety of guests coming and going to catch their planes. Internet hook-up and capacity to print tickets in the lobby.
