Front desk staff was not friendly, the cable access for tv is not connected, so many hidden fees need to pay for ammenities per day.

Rooms were average. we werent given the room that was shown in the pictures, instead it was partial ocean view and the rest was looking into other peoples hotel rooms (or them looking into ours)... no ramp at entry to hotel so you will carry your bags up 6-7 steps (not an exciting task esp after the tiring trip out there.... and qwik side note no wheelchair access)The only sink in the room was in the toilet which was abit yuk. Location was great, very close to everything. buffet was horrible and very expensive. housekeeping very good. TV channels very poor selection and the cost to watch a movies was $15!!

this hotel has a great location. but looking at the pictures you make a mistake thinking it's located on the sand. it's not on the beach and there are 2 streets to cross to get into the beach...
that's the only good thing about the hotel. i've been to hawaii twice and this was the worst hotel i've stayed. it's durty, staff are unpolited, everything you want to do is under a huge tax . you may think you are saving money making a cheap reservation in the hotel, and when you get there you pay more than double price in taxes the hotel charges (not an option, by the way).
do not recommend at all!!

Great place to stay if you're not looking for all the bells and whistles and whilst an older hotel, the location is amazing. So close to the beach and the shopping strip and wi-fi was pretty quick too.

The check-in and check-out were okay; not very efficient. The location is probably the best thing about this hotel. 20 USD plus tax per day mandatory resort charge is imposed in addition to the room rate paid through Agoda. Did ask for a non-smoking room, but the room given was apparently a smoking room, and was rather smelly. Did not ask them to change the room since one of the two buildings was out of air conditioning system due to maintenance work for the night we stayed. Rather stayed in a smelly room than in a no a/c room.
