Cheap, but you get what you pay for

I was staying at the Hilton Village across the street for 4 nights, and moved to ramada for the 5th night because Hilton got fully booked by the time I changed my plans. The room was a good , and required no resort fee .
a) ocean view (zero view at ramada. not even a balcony)
b) slightly bigger / newer room.
I stayed in ramada just for 1 night, before flying out early in the morning. So, it worked out for me...

It is a really old hotel located far from Waikiki, you need to catch a cab.
There was a noise from central heating all night and coundn't sleep.
Regret selecting this hotel.

Restaurant, bar and lounge is not simply going to
Location was not excellent, money exchange was not available at front desk.

I was dissappointed that internet wire was off and could not use it to access for getting e-mails.
Restaurant Tip:
It was inconvenient to have breakfast in early morning because there was no in-house-restaurant.

Good Location but old hotel

The hotel was old but somewhat maintained. The hotel is small and has very limited space in the lobby and parking. The hotel is also used as a transit hotel for Japan Air Lines (JAL), so lots of overnight pilots and stewards. The location is right on the main street and about 4 blocks from the beach, walking ditance to Waikiki, and walking distance to the Mall. I would not receomend it for people on vacation but suffecient for business travelers.

the hotle was a bit old and i hated the bed as well. room wss very small but i had at least lcd tv at the room. restaurant was terrible. they said it is chinese buffet and it was worse than just continental buffet. empolyees were fairly nice but some of the weren't very nice when i asked them tooth brushes and pastes. they said they have free wifi but it wasn't working at the room.

The hotel was clean, inexpensive, and provided free breakfast (with a local chinese buffet, but we had american food).
The location was just perfect; we were close to Waikiki beach and Diamond Head. We didn't have much issue with transportation.
If you're on a budget, this is a great place to be.

the rooms at the hotel was just nice. it was clean however, just that the hotel was a bit old. however having said that, the distance of the hotel to the beach and shooping areas was great. we walked everywhere as everything was just nearby!

A thirty minute ride from the airport cost about @ . Staff friendly, but the accommodation is in two places, The main rooms are on the beach front and our apartment was across the road not what I was expecting.Apartment owned by one person similar to time share so all these apartments could be in different conditions. Ours was adequate for our purpose, a little tired though. Could do with a spruce up. However we were happy good parking and the grounds are pretty to walk through. Handy little food mart short walk away, and a Poke Shop across the road. This is raw food at its best

Hotel was well located & close to beach & shopping, bus stop right outside! Not very attractive from outside but inside very clean & tidy and nice rooms and staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms facing Ala Moana Boulevard could be a little noisy. Breakfast included was a bonus but would like a little more variety on what is offered, particularly if travelling with children. Hotel offers good value for money.
Shopping Tip:
Ala Moana shopping mall is just 10 mins walk from hotel and Hilton Hawaiian Village shopping arcade across the road.

Reasonly priced room.
Good location at Waikiki .

There are two elevators there but only one was working for six nights when I stayed there.. It took a long time to wait for elevators to go up and down with one only. It was very inconvenient.
