Clean, inexpensive, immediate proximity to the airport Hobbie, decent restaurant, very good service from reception / concierge, very good shuttle service At the weekend, as extinct, heated room in winter and too cold, no drinks in the room Be careful, if you in Houston, an "airport" hotel reservation, you should make sure what is driving to the airport! The Hilton Airport hotel is located directly on Hobbie Hobbie Airport, but it is a USD 80 taxi ride from the George Bush International Airport. Even closer to the city center is far away - to Galveston, and NASA, at that. Around the hotel reflects the economic crisis - there is but a Burger Drive Inn restaurant next to nothing. The staff is friendly and the hotel is overall very good for a suitable stop-over between flights.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Historical Park, USS TEXAS (museum ship), NASA Visitors Center and Galveston are - reach for American conditions rather well.
