I chose the hotel primarily because it offered a great rate during my stay. Also of interest was its location in close proximity to the office where I had business meetings.
I would return back to the Intercontinental. In addition, the service was friendly and fast, all in all an enjoyable stay. It is important, however, to note that an attractive rate is paramount to the decision to stay there last time.

Nicely decorated, adequate rooms.
No parking but in their garage. Expensive in room internet service.
We stayed here while my son was attending a soccer camp. We normally stay in 3 star hotels, but the price was right so I thought I'd try 4 stars. I'd forgotten that the perks available at places like Embassy Suites: free internet, breakfast, parking, aren't available, or at a stiff price at more expensive hotels. It's not clear what staying at a "nice" hotel actually gets you, even in terms of luxury or service.
