If it had free Wi-Fi, would have been perfect!

Had a great time with my pre-teen son. He loved the waterslides, but I don't understand why they have to close that side of the pool at 6 pm?! it is a lot of fun for kids, who don't have kids' club activities. Yes, there is kids' game room, but there are only a few machines and some of them ate our coins, but we were ableto get them back from the staff.
Nice balconies, to relax with a glass of wine after a busy day. Nice and friendly staff at the reception. The food at the cafe' is nothing to write home about, but the only "minus" that I will give this property is that it does not offer a free Wi-Fi. In this day and age, it is not very expensive at all, so I was ticked off that it was going to be an additional charge.
Other than that, a really nice "Mexico resort" in the middle of Las Vegas. There are no slot machines on the propery, so it really feels you are in a Mexican resort far from neon lights of Vegas.

pools are very kid friendly. tons of activities for kids. quiet and relaxing

Liked the hotel very family friendly. Wish they would upgrade there fold out mattress in the couch. Had to pillows in the middle under the mattress and the comforter from the master bedroom on top to make it comfortable.

I enjoyed our stay .we cannot wait to bring our younger children back.They should provide shuttle service to the strip .We have stayed at another resort in vegas and they did provide shuttle service.

staff was very professional had a little problem with booking cause i booked another stay cause was there with friends celebrating a bday but staff took care of my booking to make me comfortable with my stay. i will definitely stay again for sure!!!!!

Typical time share apartment resort

Cancun Resort is a typical time share apartment resort, large well appointed clean comfortable apartment with full kitchen, lounge, dining room, bedroom & full bathroom with large spa bath & 2nd small shower room ensuite. The bed is comfortable; the facilities are good with elevator access to apartments & laundry facilities on each floor.
The resort facilities are excellent, beautiful large lagoon pool with separate area for kids to enjoy water slides, lush gardens with lots of sun lounges & a couple of hot spa pools, the whole area is well fenced for child safety & there are lifeguards on duty at all times. There is a convenience store for basic items, a cafe & an adults bar, kids club, activities and an adults lounge room with pool tables extra, the perfect setup for family vacation, or like us a great base to explore the area and the Grand Canyon.
Word to the wise, this is a time share resort, you will be “invited” to a sales presentation, expect the sales pitch the moment you arrive via concierge, disguised as a $100 voucher for a steak & seafood restaurant or similar, your choice if you go or not. Happy Travels.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you can, find a luggage trolley when you arrive, none of the resort doors at reception or the apartment blocks are self-opening making getting multiple suitcases thru a pain! & it’s a long haul to the apartment blocks to lug suitcases; there is no help from staff to get your luggage to your room!

Perfect escape from the hustle bustle of the strip
good price, quiet location, solid service

i stayed here with my parents during a family trip. it is about ten minutes away from the strip by car, but it's ten minutes away from the strip, which means it's much quieter. those who want the full experience of vegas can find it within ten minutes. those who want a quiet and relaxing afternoon, can find it by the amazing poolside. it's also across the street from the outlet!
