Spacious and comfortable room

The hotel is near the strip but it can stay away from the crowd of the strip. So, the location is great. Besides, the room is spacious and comfortable. Though breakfast was not included in my booking, the breakfast was complimentary and thus I can also enjoy the breakfast.

A lovely value for money hotel

Was very impressed the moment I first stepped into the hotel. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful and was very happy with the standard of the 1 bedroom suite that I stayed in. The room was very clean and cosy and well furnished...felt like a home away from home! Also, the hotel location is within walking distance to the Strip. It is good to return to the peace and quiet of the hotel from the hustle & bustle of the Las Vegas Strip.

Not your typical Vegas Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at Desert Rose because we were able to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hotel is at least 10-15 minute walk from MGM Grand (at a slow pace) so make sure you are ready to walk. The rooms are vet spacious and comfortable, although it is semi-open air and since we were there during winter we had to wear our coats everytime we go out of our rooms.
We liked the fact that they serve different breakfast options everday.
Over-all a good place to stay for big families as long as you are not afterthe Vegas vibe and do not expect to have eay access to casinos.

Stayed at Desert Rose Resort for 3 nights and I would say, it exceed my expectations. The customer service is excellent and the 1 bedroom suite is fully equipped and i would say, the resort team has thought through of what customers wants coz I find it all within the suite that i stayed. Kitchennette was superb as they even equipped you with everything u need including blender, knives at many sizes, all type of other cutleries etc.
Among things that i like is their breakfast as they have free flow starbucks and also soft drinks!
Location wise, it is not at main road of The Strip but just few blocks away..and for those who wish to have a quieter place to stay, this should be the place. I will definitely want to come and stay at this resort again next time!

Little bit dissapointed

As this hotel hat high rankings at Tripadvisor, I decided to give it a try. Although the staff is very friendly and location is good, I won't stay here again.
The interior design is outdated and dark. As the room I had didn't get much natural light, I needed to turn on the lights at all times when I was in the room.
The breakfast is complimentary, but rather basic. I usually had my breakfast at the MGM buffet which was just under a 10 min walk from the hotel.
This is the first time I selected a lower priced hotel, but won't make this mistake again. I rather pay double the rate and have my stay in Vegas be bright and joyful like it has always been before.

The hotel was only a short walk from the strip which in my opinion was the best of both worlds.The Happy Hour(in fact 2 hours)was superb value as the drinks were free,the barman was most curteous.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
See the Bellagio fountain display,it was very good and free.If you have a car go to the Hoover Dam,it is only 30 miles away.The scenery and all other aspects of the dam are a must see.

Lovely hotel, short walk to strip

we had an enjoyable 3 day stay a this hotel. we chose it specifically as we have children, and it was off the strip and does not have a casino attached to it that we would have to walk through everytime we went to our room. saying that though it was only about a 10min or so walk to the strip so we could still see all the attractions but come home at night and leave it all behind. staff were very friendly. the room was very clean and beds very comfortable. pool liked nice although we didn't get the time to use it. hot buffet breakfast was a bonus.

The staff are friendly. I've arrived around 3.00 am on 1/9 and they let me checked-in without any question.
The room has a full kitchen. I'm planning to stay here again.

Great value non-casino hotel just off the Strip
Not having to walk through an acre of slots to get to the room

suite was large, comfortable and well-equipped. being a low rise resort i only needed the elevator for moving luggage. buffet breakfast and in-room internet were both included and perfectly adequate. the pool was perhaps a little small for the size of resort.
