Opposite the Greyhound Bus Station On Freemont Drive (downtown - very good location) but away from the Strip.

Have to insist not to get rooms which are very noisy. Rooms are small for Twin sharing Rather old - needs refurbishing Housekeeping didn't make up the room, only top up the coffee/toiletries.

We arrived at 4:45 am at the Golden Gate. By 5:30am, there were already people checking out. We kept asking for a room as we had travelled the whole night from LA but they have not made the rooms yet. We told them we will not come back once we are out. Imagine not being able to bathe for the last 24 hours! We only checked in at 10 pm that night. Since we are foreigners, it would have been helpful if they had helped us out on this. The staff also didn't allow us to hang around at the reception. Come on it's so early in the morning!! We just sat there and read the tourist brochures until 6 am. The housekeeper didn't make our room the next day. She only topped up the toiletries cups and coffee.

Travel tip : 1)if you stay at Golden Gate, walk to Las Vegas Blvd; get a USD 7 Deuce Bus Ticket to go to the Strip. Valid for whole day. Hop on & off at any hotel. 2)Take 108 bus opposite hotel to go to Premium Outlet or airport - only USD 1.75 one way or USD 4 for a whole day's ride. 3)Premium Outlet has fantastic deals for branded products 4)Check out Champagne breakfast or lunch buffet at only USD 9.99 on weekends or US 7.99 on weekdays at the Plaza Hotel, opposite Golden Gate. 5)Don't take the Helicopter ride for Grand Canyon if you have the time - waste of money. 6)Bring your own mini electric kettle and bedroom slippers. US hotels don't provide these amenities.

Friendly staff, conveniently located downtown.

No bathtub.

50古MEKASHI to provide the illusion of time before you slip.借RI出SHITA from a hair dryer at the front, "the old building, there is a risk of fire, and a return in time". Room comfort and convenience of the water around 50 might be appropriate if you want to remain in front of the hotel business. Striking for better or worse.

It was old-fashioned and much more low key than the big hotels

The building work was noisy from early morning. The area is being redeveloped and huge hotels will soon be there.

If you want just a taste of casinos it is ideal as it is small. The staff are always watching the card tables and if you start to win they change the person dealing. It feels a bit menacing and we left after losing $200 in 10 minutes. Outside the mall was fun but you were 10 minutes drive away from the real centre with huge hotels and themed areas like Venice and Paris. The room was dusty and furniture very old but it was amazingly cheap.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It is better to go downtown in the daytime to get your bearings and return to one area at night.
