Quirky design and amazing atrium
The elevator was a bit weird as it travels sideways up the pyramid
The room was large, but perhaps a little tired. Overall though it was good value. The check in was quick and it was easy to check out from the room. It was nice not to walk right in the door to the noise of the casino. All the expected facilities of any of the strip hotels was available. Would stay here again
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If taking the bus up and down the strip, allow about 1 hour to get downtown

Clean rooms, friendly service, good restaurants serving good food, perfect for all sorts of gamblings
Too noisy, lack of personnel to guide people to move around, Long queue to register and to check out, laudry is expensive but good.
To call the LUXOR a hotel is misleading because it is a misnomer. It is a city in itself and since it chose an egyptian name "Luxor" the name caravanserail shoutd be added to it. Conservely it is perfect for the gambling people, and I appreciated a wonderful show called "Believe" with a Criss Engel in the leading role. The best restaurant is the Pyramide Cafe, the rest are fast food joints which a avoid. But I must admit that the statues and the decor of this place is unique in Las Vegas and I do not regret having stayed in this "hotel"
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Believe in the theater
