On the Strip. Plenty of restaurants in the Luxor and connecting Mandalay Bay. Clean room. Easy to check out.
Uncomfortable beds. Long lines at check-in.
We were upgraded at check-in from a pyramid room to a room in one of the towers. The Tower rooms were simply appointed, with very nice (albeit dark) bathrooms. After a stay at the Loews the two previous nights in Lake Las Vegas, we found the king-size bed to be intolerably painful! But we did receive some nice perks at check-in that reduced the cost of our dining, and we liked that the hotel was so well-situated between the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay. Staff was very professional. I just found the rooms to have a "dated" feel to them and wish it would have been more comfortable.

Area, good spot on the strip.
-Hotel room stunk like butts, even though it was non smoking.
-Beds were made without the correct sheets so the sheet didn't stay on the bed.
-Bed was also very uncomfortable.
-Curtain was broken so the room filled up with light when the sun rose!
I don't believe I would stay at the Luxor again (unless they remodel.) I'd rather spend more money on a quality hotel. I'm young and looking to have fun but didn't really enjoy my stay. However it was also my first time in Vegas so had no clue what I was getting into.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Must see The Beatles live at the Mirage, was amazing!!

very nice pools, nice casino, room was pretty comfortable, food was reasonably priced for Vegas
Not many restaurant options, many of the shows were not running while we were there. At the end of the strip so getting places isnt very easy to do.
Overall a pretty good stay. We had a problem with our room when we first came in, but they moved us immediately into a nicer room. Definitely worth the money.
Restaurant Tip : The buffet seemed like a good deal but all of the hotels are running a similar deal. If you are looking for food variety MGM is very close and has a great selection.
