I had no issues with the stay at Palace Station Hotel. It was a little ways off of the strip, but it had a free shuttle service and plenty of taxis ready. It was not the Bellagio obviously, but it was a LOT nicer than the Quads.

1) Not for family with young children. No hot water is fine, called the reception asking where to get hot water (to prepare milk for baby), they said there were none - can't help. We got to drive out to nearby fastfood to get hot water.
2) I booked 2 rooms, but none were captured in there system. Were asked to pay for the rooms but luckily I brought my room confirmation details along to prove that the rooms were paid for.
3) Far from the centre of attraction. Got to drive near circus circus hotel to walk around Las Vegas.

Be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes for the buffet any time of the day. It is a tiny room and they make you stand in line and only let someone in when someone leaves. They raise the prices during the holiday. Buffet was $15. Casino is freezing cold and very smoky. I waited 20 minutes to check in. I waited 20 minutes to get to the cashier. The room is old and the carpet is dirty. Shower is 3'x3'. I have stayed all over Vegas and this hotel is not a good deal. If you are going to stay this far off the strip you might as well stay somewhere nicer than this for the same amount of money. This hotel has terrible management.

Our stay was great! Friendly staff at check in and check out. IN fact all hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Took in the bingo great staff there also. Overall great experience.
