Great location, simple room
located in the middle of the stip. Shopping below.

The lifts are noisy and there's no fridge and no bottled water (even paid ones) in the room. It's just the essentials.
best cheaper alternative on the heart of the strip. Simple, clean and pleasant. Don't expect more in service
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Being at the heart is very easy to get to all the other major casinos in the area. All of walking distance and a great place to start.

Great Lobby, Loses it with the rooms
6.3
The lobby area is lively and good looking. There are a variety of good restaurants and bars. However, the rooms are old and tired. Also, the hotel has the distinction of having the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever come across in my thirty years of business travel. Ten inches of dense foam. All pillows are the exact same and they are all horrible (unless you need them to build in impenetrable pillow fort).

Great location but the service isn't great.
6.7
out of the 5 nights that i stayed, i always put a "do not disturb" sign because on my vacation, i usually sleep in but 3 out of the 5 nights i've stayed, the hotel maid had bothered me the first three nights and totally disregarded my "do not disturb" sign. on my third day, she knocked again and i told her that i didn't need any servicing (i was still half asleep) but she insisted on coming in. the cleanliness of the bathroom was an issue when i had first checked in.
Shopping Tip:
The shopping is the highlight of staying at PH.

Very good location, right at the middle of the strip, walking distance to other casino/hotels nearby. Connected to the Miracle Mile shops.
The room was quite spacious with big rest room / bathroom.
Overall it wasn't very satisfactory because of some unexpected events here and there.
Room service wasn't good. We called for toothbrushes at least 5 times, every time they said they would come soon but there wasn't anyone coming for hours.
At checked out I was prompted for a dinner bill that I didn't consume, some mistake happened and the bill was wrongly assigned to us. I hope they would sort it out and wouldn't charge it to my card.
Spice market dinner was just alright, plenty of choices but some food wasn't kept warm. Rice discs was hard because it got dry displayed there after sometime. Food quality was just so so
Hotel Feature Tip:
Quite a walk from the carpark to the hotel elevator. You have to pass by all the shops and casino to get there. Probably it is a good idea to use the valet service which is free.

Best location in Vegas
Great customer service. But the hotel is too big that it becomes impersonal.
8.3
valet parking is best in town. very professional and respectful work force. i'll stay again next time i'm in vegas.

My room had a view of the Bellagio Fountain show!
Centrally located in walking distance to great casinos and shopping
7.3
The hotel itself was a little dated. The room was a good size but could have been cleaner. Try to get a room facing the Bellagio, the view of the fountains was awesome and had a little window sill to curl up on.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
For a great an in-expensive spa day. Take a 15 minute walk over to the Aria Hotel (their restaurants are amazing as well). A day at their spa is only $30! I went two days in a row, fabulous amenities.

This was our first time in Las Vegas and we're so pleased that we chose Planet Hollywood. It's a great 4* hotel in a great location smack bang in the middle of the Strip so if you're walking nothings too far. Big rooms, big bathrooms and a wonderful party atmosphere for the young and young at heart. Everything about the hotel oozes fun, fun, fun. Yes, we had a great time would certainly return again and again.
