Room clean, checkin & buffet horrible

My stay was quite frustrating. We arrived and waited 45 minutes to an hour to check in. We had asked a manager to ask about helping or a better system to get people checked in. He replied it is always like this on Fridays and its fathers day. After waiting to chackin, my husband and I went to the buffet to eat. The food was horrible. Everyhting we had put on our plate went to waste. It was very disappointing and frustrating since we had paid $40. Wewere better off going to Benny Hanas (we were given a coupon at check in) and paid the same with better food.
When we got back to our room, we noticed there wss only 2 pillows and the sheets had food or something on one side. We got this hotel beacuse we were in town visiting a family member that is very sick -the hotel was close to their home and more upscale than. Very disappointed stay. I dont think we would stay there again.

The pool was nice for the short time it was open.

Hotel room carpet was stained all over. Very filthy looking. The pool closed way too early at around 7:30pm. I shouldn't complain too much since the price was very cheap. Can't comment on the casino and restaurants as we didn't use them.

The front desk took time to spare rooms for us because we booked them through Agoda.com, not sure if it's because of the hotel's system is not linked well with the site or because of the staff. Looked like we almost weren't going to get the rooms. One of the room was ready for us to move in after 8pm which I think is too late for the day.

Our stay here was ok. It was close to the Strip however away from a lot of the traffic and noise. The room was nice and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. There was a coffee machine however no other tea or coffee making facilities in the room which would have been nice. Also the cost of wifi in the room was quite expensive.
