to be honest my husband and i were dissapointed with the hotel. When we first arrived the staff were less then welcoming and although we had pre booked using agoda they demanded $20USD each for 'hotel charge' when i queried this i was advised by the staff that it is for wireless internet and being granted access to newspapers in the morninbg etc. As you can imagine i was furious as i had no need for any of that. When we got to our room and attempted to open the balcony doors wich is what was so attractive about the location, to my demise they didnt open. When i called the front desk, a very rude women responded that i was foolish to think that they would open as its vegas and there sealed shut. If thats the case why advertise balconies if they cant be used. It is to far from the strip to be able to walk you have to catch a taxi and unfortunatly the wait can be a while and it costs on average $10 to get up not including tips. The best thing about the hotel was the beds, ridiculously comfortable best ive ever slept in. However that is all. I wont ever stay here again as you loose half of the excitement and buzz being on the outskirts. Even the casino was drabby! Whatever you do stay on the strip and enjoy your time in vegas - even if its extra money it will be money better spent. I do not advise to stay here !! all the best for your endeavours
Shopping Tip:
There are two amazing outlet malls in vegas.. you have the north and the south. We went to both and both have different shops. The best is the south where it is an open mall ( its 3 x bigger then the other ) and its amazing ! enjoy shopping
Also for food gordon ramzey's pub and grill in ceasars wasw awesome, try his caramel martini its the best martini ive ever had and genuinely taste like apple crumble ... his burgr resteraunt in planet hollywood is awesome also ! and for shows you can book them last minute at a booth near the giant cocacola bottle near MGM hotel for half the price on the day or the day before, however if you want to see something desperatly dont take the risk and the best show there is REVE. all the best for your travels
