started horribly and hotel made little effort to correct mistakes! reservation issue with booking agency and hotel was taken out on us. I cannot begin to explain how dissapointed I am with the overall stay in the tropicana. Had the issue been addressed and customer service been rendered I might have an overall different tone, but hotel displayed little service if any.

Refreshingly Bright Las Vegas Retreat

My husband and I chose to stay at the Tropicana while meeting up with friends. Having stayed at other hotels in Vegas before, I was happy with the refreshing and bright atmosphere -atypical for Vegas. The hotel is not huge and cavernous but instead has all the amenities while still being easy to navigate and within a few steps of the strip.

Customer service was great. Spoke to a nice man checking me in that had worked there for 20 years. He was able to tell me about the history of the hotel. I'm surprised he's not a manager!

checking in was easy and was greeted by friendly staff member. walking to the room was a bit of a journey wish they had closer entrance and exit for the club tower. get to room the comforter had red sticky candy on it called housekeeping came to my door was very rude to me. he told me to show him the red candy because he didn’t believe me. he put on a new comforter sheet but was rude to me and my boyfriend during the whole time he was there. he was the only staff member i had issues with while i was there. everyone else was very friendly and very helpful. the a/c barely worked i had it set at the lowest setting and it felt like nothing was coming out of it. the wi-fi is a joke both my boyfriend and i tried connecting through our iphones and when we tried using the internet it just spun not loading. we decided just to use our 3g this upset me because i don’t mind paying resort fees but if i am paying resort fees for internet i better be able to connect to wi-fi and use it. jacuzzi was great open 24 hrs which is great for sore feet after a night of dancing. everything else was great and i have no complaints. i would stay at this hotel again only if i got another good deal of the price.
