Stunning Resort with Steve Wynn's attention to det

Had a wonderful time at the Wynn. The resort is stunning. Upgraded to a suite and had a wonderful strip view. Bathroom had a large garden tub and his/hers vanities with a separate make-up table. Suites have a private pool which is less crowded than the main pool. As I have experienced in the past, the pool staff could use some hospitality training. They are young and very attractive but not particularly responsive to guests needs. Not suprising, I'm sure they will have no problem getting through life on their good looks alone but the could sell a lot more food & beverage at the pool if their staff was better.
I hate to say it but North Strip is the place to be these days. I have fond memories of the days Mandalay Bay was new and the energy the South Strip had but times have changed. The Wynn is at the far end of the strip but The Venetian and The Palazzo just across the footbridge and Caesars and Bellagio a 10 minute walk Wynn's location is not bad.
Wynn remains my first choice when staying on the strip.

I stayed two nights at the Bellagio and two nights at the Wynn for my first trip to Las Vegas. The Wynn was significantly better than the Bellagio.
The buffet restaurant provides an excellent value meal.
Staff are nice and there are many shops to look at plus the hotel is just across the road from the Fashion Mall - just use the overbridge via the Wynn shops to get there.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The spa is expensive, but a nice treat experience. If you are getting a treatment, arrive in advance to get ready and sit down with a drink and fresh fruit or enjoy the other facilities such as the steam room and plunge pools to make the most of the experience.

Restaurant Tip:
SW Steakhouse is one of the top restaurants in the US. A must try.

I actually upgraded to Salon Suites for additional $75 offered by hotel.
It is about 2000 sqf. Very very spacious. Room service is great!! You have designated house keeper to make your bed at night.
Hotel Feature Tip:
One thing about booking with Agoda is you need to make sure your date is correct! I have experience min. 3 times that dates of stay we're off by one day early. By the time you are at front desk it is already too late and you need to spend extra hour to argue with Agoda to issue refund and you need to book extra day on the spot!! Very tricky.
