Close to airport. Free shuttle every 20 minutes. Free fast wifi. Dingy, dark, depressing hallways. Unpleasant odor throughout hotel. This hotel is decent for a short stay. I wouldn't want to stay any more than 2 or 3 days max. Considering the cheap price it was suitable for my 2 day layover. But if I have another layover in LA in the future, I'd spend more for a more pleasant place to stay. The lobby is ok; the hallways are really dark and depressing; the attached restaurant was nothing special (despite what I had read here beforehand); but the room was clean and suitable. However, there was an odor in my non-smoking room.
Restaurant Tip : There is a strip mall across the street with numerous restaurants. They have tables outside where you see normal, working-class folks having lunch. I ate at the chinese place and the food tasted good.

Close to airport, free shuttle service, clean. All shopping and attractions are a cab drive away. We always stay here when we have a stopover in LA
The restaurant is great and not very expensive. The rooms are clean with good shower. Staff is very helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just a short cab ride to Manhatten Beach and a bit longer cab ride to Venice Beach.

Great location, huge hotel, with lots of outside seating for enjoying the Los Angeles weather !

Free Shuttle No complaints. Basic service, well done. Older facility, but clean. This is a good, basic, close to the airport hotel. I highly recommend it for a 1-2 night stayover. The shuttle was quick and easy, check-in was efficient and fast. Room was a standard size, with full bath. Clean, not fancy, but I wasn't looking for a resort. There is an onsite coffee shop open until 1a.m., which was very convenient. I would be happy to stay there again.
Travel tip : There is a tour desk, onsite coffee shop that has very late hours, a gift shop/small convenience store and lovely seating in the spacious courtyards.

The staff was excellent! Friendly and helpful... The property (specifically the rooms) need renovating. The staff was so very friendly from my pick-up at the airport (right on time) to the day of my check out. The inclusive breakfast, very simple, yet filling, was much appreciated and and well done. The staff was eager to fill any need that I had. Very convenient to the airport. This is a budget hotel as the property could use a renovation. This is no reflection on the staff. The rooms needed new furniture and carpet...very musty smelling.

Parking was slightly inconvenient and confusing. I stayed at the Hacienda Hotel for two nights starting on a Sunday evening and leaving on a Tuesday. When I arrived Sunday evening, I pulled up to the hotel breezeway where there was no place to park, so I went to a parking area behind the hotel, which stated that guests needed to check in first and then park. I circled the hotel area and pulled up in the breezeway area which stated parking was only for 15 minutes. When I arrived inside the hotel, I was greeted and provided with a map of the hotel area. Then I was explained the parking situation, which included using the hotel key to enter the parking structure located in two areas around the hotel. Parking provided many spaces to park with fairly good lighting, however, the parking lots were not close to the hotel. In regards to the hotel and my room, the hotel was clean and nicely decorated. My room was clean and well taken care of. I enjoyed my two nights stay, however, there was an occasion where the elevators malfunctioned and guests had to wait quite awhile. In addition, the elevators were very slow and there was often a long wait to use them. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others.

Near the Lax and not expensive Bedspring is bad. Elevator is only old one. Parking is far. Business hours of shopping center across road is from early morning to late hours. It is very useful.
Parking entrance is a far from hotel lobby. If guidance of direction to parking lot is noticed at hotel entrance, it would be appreciated. Room key is needed for parking before the check-in. It also should be noticed at hotel entrance.

Close to airport, free shuttle service to & from Hotel. Great restaurant. We will definitely stay again. Very helpful staff. Clean room.
Shopping Tip : About one mile from El Segundo Plaza. Easily walked in twenty minutes.

Free shuttle bus to LAX airport.
Free shuttle bus to shopping centers.
Opposite a supermarket. Very old.
The double beds are too small for 2 persons.
No free internet access. We stayed a night before joining the tour and 2 nights after the tour. Not looking forward to stay there again after the tour. The rooms smell "old" perhaps from the old furnishings & carpets. The supermarket opposite is a plus & it's easy to get a card to qualify for very good discounts. The hotel definitely needs refurbishing as I can easily find a better nearby hotel with similar rate.
Shopping Tip : As mentioned above and also the shopping center is about 15 minutes walk from Manhattan Beach.

Friendly staff, on-site restaurant and bar, lots of food/beverage choices in walking distance. Pickup from LAX was fairly quick. Very convenient to have a rental car center at the hotel (Discovery Rent-a-car). Hotel clean and well-appointed. Many options for dining within easy walking distance. Easy access to the 405 and other major arteries. Return shuttle to LAX very accommodating. Overall, a very satisfactory stay!

Well located, shuttle to the airport, Spanish speaking staff. I loved Los Angeles, I liked the hotel. There is a shopping centre near with some sales I loved. There are some Restaurants nearby very useful for visitors and the shuttle to-from the hotel and the airport is priceless. Staff helped keeping my staff at the secure place, I appreciate it as I was traveling with two bikes. They have people who speaks Spanish, very useful for me. Thank you.

location, service, parking. I used Agoda to book the Hacienda Hotel LAX, they had my reservation, were friendly and polite. My room was clean, quiet and the hotel was an excellent bargain for the price. I'd stay there again.
Travel tip : The hotel location was near the freeway (not too close) for easy access to the 405. About a 2 miles from Manhattan Beach and 2 miles for the airport.

Though the review from other guests are mixed, I took a 'gamble' to book a room at Hacienda and the stay was comfortable.
Request for a room at the South Tower as it is newer.
