The hotel is just behind Kodak Theatre and within walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard. The room was spacious for the four of us and has a small dining area. Room was well kept and we don't see any wear and tear around us. Continent buffet breakfast was provided in the foyer just after the lobby and has a good selection of bread and drinks.
The hotel does not have any lift and may not be suitable for guests with heavy luggage or difficulty climbing the stairs.
At first we were apprehension of the 2 Star rating but proceeded with the booking as the hotel is near Hollywood Boulevard and the price is reasonable. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the good condition of the hotel and room and had a comfortable stay there. The room is spacious and most of all, within walking distance to the Boulevard and the Metro. We were able to visit Universal City Walk on the night we arrived by taking the Metro there. The breakfast was fresh and good and we certainly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in LA.
