ONE STAFF MEMBER LET THE HOTEL DOWN

The staff member who checked us in (Michael) was very friendly and helpful but another staff member Gisel was very unhelpful and not very friendly on more than one occassion during our stay.We asked her to call us a taxi to go to Longbreach and she obliged by calling a car company without our knowledge and us being charged $45 more then what the taxi fare would have been.Another staff member advised us that we could have a late check out at 3pm due to our 10.10pm flight. On the day, Gisel told us that we could not have the late check out because hotel policy was , 11am check out and that was it.

Close to public transport to all the major attractions. Very helpful staff, rooms were decent and clean. Had to pay for parking and is not located close enough to walk to any of the attractions, the airport is an hour drive away.

I liked the hotel but the water in the room never stayed hot for me. During our stay, they were constructing the room next to us so it got kind of loud. I expected the hotel to be in a cleaner area but I guess I was expecting too much. There were a lot of restaurant close by but after a certain time it's safer to stay in the hotel. I liked the outside bar but the pool need some upgrade.
